Since Pro-Vas Occlusion is new, it is still too early to know conclusively what the complication or success profiles are for sure. However, results on the first 20 patients treated in relation to a clinical  have shown no significant complications reported, and all patients have passed their first semen analysis 8-12 weeks following the procedure.  For more detail, see "Effectiveness" and "Complications".

It should be noted that the effectiveness of using the Pro-Vas applier for permanent male sterilization has not been evaluated in comparison to standard vasectomy procedures.
